| The first weekend in November was a nice one and so we went apple picking with our friends Jason, and Chip & Laura and their two kids Dana and Elliot. We all had a good time at the orchard and picked way too many apples - 26 lbs! We’re still eating them two weeks later. After that we drove to a nearby vineyard where eat the picnic lunch we’d brought with us. All in all a great day! | 2007/11/04 |

| The pool’s already closed for the summer so this weekend we took the kids downtown to see the Natural History Museum. The kids hadn’t been on the Metro before so it was an adventure all round.
